Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Heat

Fans in Miami are not going to love to see Tyler Herro included in this deal. He has big-time potential, but the Heat are without question a team in contention for a championship this year. Adding Bradley Beal could be the move that puts them over the top.

Can you imagine a starting five that would include Goran Dragic, Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo? Miami would have to find other pieces to bring in for a supporting cast, but those four could power the Heat to a ring.

Beal has been rumored as a potential target for the Heat. No one truly knows whether or not Miami has actually pursued a trade for him.

This trade would give up a lot of the depth the Heat have. In fact, Pat Riley might not be willing to part with this much. However, he does love making big splashes and Beal would be the definition of a big splash.

Miami may choose to stand pat, but this move would have to be considered. It makes sense if the Heat want to add another star. Beal would be a perfect fit for what the Heat are looking to do and would fit nicely alongside Jimmy Butler.
