Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have had a solid offseason, but they haven’t added any major pieces to their roster. Goran Dragic was re-signed immediately to start the offseason, but the Heat did lose Jae Crowder and signed Avery Bradley. Could they look to make a blockbuster trade with the Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal?
Beal has been talked about in trade rumors over the last couple of years, but the Wizards have not pulled the trigger. It seems that the star shooting guard would like to stick with Washington, but they need to put a contender together soon.
Last season with the Wizards, Beal ended up averaging 30.5 points per game to go along with 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds. He shot 45.5 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 35.3 percent from the three-point line.
If the Heat could pull off a trade for Beal, they would once again be a favorite in the Eastern Conference and would give Jimmy Butler a lethal running mate. However, it may be tough to convince the Wizards to trade him. Miami would have to come in with an aggressive trade offer.
All of that being said, let’s take a look at one intriguing trade that could end up sending Bradley Beal from the Wizards to the Heat.
