Houston Rockets Receive: John Wall, Troy Brown, 2021 1st Round Pick Swap

There aren’t two worse point guard contracts in the NBA than John Wall and Russell Westbrook— making a direct swap between the Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards a logical scenario.

It only helps the situation that both Wall and Westbrook want to be traded from their respective teams. Perhaps a change of scenery could be what both players need? If so, it would be quite simple to execute— only requiring the Wizards to part with NBA Draft compensation.

There is already a connection between Westbrook and Wizards head coach Scott Brooks from their time together with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Meanwhile, James Harden is probably on his way out with the Rockets but Wall could revamp his trade value with the Houston Rockets.
