3 trade packages for Washington Wizards to move John Wall

The Washington Wizards face a need to trade former franchise-cornerstone John Wall to a new team. It won’t be an easy task when considering his recent injury history but there some options could be there.

After Bradley Beal has emerged as one of the NBA’s top leading scorers, it’s clear who the franchise player is for the Wizards. Wall doesn’t seem to be a fan of that notion and for whatever reason, no longer wants to play for Washington— going as far as requesting a trade.

Time is running out for the Wizards to build around Beal before he starts the process of forcing his way out of Washington. There is only so much losing a star can put up with until enough is enough. Keeping an unhappy player like Wall around could only accelerate the process.

The Wizards would benefit from sending a clear message that Bradley Beal is their franchise-player by trading away Wall— even if it requires parting with assets to get it done. He is no longer a beneficial element of Washington’s organization.

With that being said, let’s take a look at three trade packages for the Washington Wizards to send John Wall to a new team.
