3. Paul Millsap
With the losses of both Montrezl Harrell and JaMychal Green early in free agency, the Los Angeles Clippers have a depleted frontcourt rotation. That’s something they will need to address as they are in full-fledged win-now mode.
The reigning Western Conference champions now have no shortage of size. Between Anthony Davis and now Harrell, the Lakers will require muscle in head-to-head matchups. A veteran like Paul Millsap would go a long way in combatting that.
Last season, Paul Millsap appeared in 51 regular season games and averaged 24.3 minutes, 11.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists— all while shooting 43.5% from beyond the arc. His combination of shooting touch, defensive versatility, and size would be a welcomed combination.
At this stage in Millsap’s career, he appears primed to earn smaller contracts in an effort to be on a team that can contend for an NBA championship. He would need to be willing to do that in order to sign with the Clippers.
