Why the Trade Benefits the Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have been down for years now. They have been in rumors involving trades with Lauri Markannen and Zach LaVine. The Bulls made a bit of a surprise pick by taking Patrick Williams with the No. 4 overall selection in the 2020 NBA Draft. He will join Coby White as the future.

Chicago could add Romeo Langford to the mix in this deal. He is a young prospect who has not gotten a chance in Boston. He was not in the mix in Boston then suffered an injury. The Celtics’ wing rotation has been overloaded with talent, too.

The Bulls have quality players they could send away for a return, including first-round picks. It’s certainly an option for White to be a logical option in that regard, but involving him in a separate trade would be easier. Having him run the second unit is certainly an option, too.

If there is one team that could send the Bulls back a nice return, it is the Celtics. They have built up trade pieces over the years that would help Chicago immediately.
