3 teams who should sign Hassan Whiteside in free agency

This offseason is full of plenty of bigs that could be valuable for NBA teams in the upcoming years. One name to keep an eye on is Hassan Whiteside.

Whiteside made a name for himself with the Miami Heat but they decided to part ways with him and move forward with Bam Adebayo. He most recently played for the Portland Trail Blazers.

After the 2019-20 season, Whiteside completed a four-year, $98 million contract and is now an unrestricted free agent. There will be a few teams after the center.

In 67 games, Whiteside averaged 15.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest in 30 minutes per game. He has returned to the level of a top notch rim protector in the league. Whiteside has the ability to perform well on both sides of the floor and this is something that will be valuable on the market.

When free agency begins, these teams will be after Whiteside. Here are four teams who should pursue the center in free agency.
