Bogdan Bogdanovic is expected to sign offer sheet with Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks were expected to be aggressive in NBA free agency by many and that appears to be their plan. Bogdan Bogdanovic remains a focus and it sounds as though they will get it done.

According to Sportando’s Emiliano Carchia, Bogdanovic is expected to sign an offer sheet with the Hawks when free agency opens. Atlanta was rumored as being heavily interested in the restricted free agent.

The Hawks clearly need to add more shooting alongside Trae Young and having a player like Bogdanovic who can check that box while being an aggressive perimeter shooter certainly helps. Atlanta would experience legitimate improvement

There isn’t an NBA team with more salary cap space than the Hawks and that always made them a likely destination for Bogdanovic. Atlanta is fully focused on doing what they can to show Young they can win immediately and this is a great way to do so.

It seems the Hawks are gradually improving their team around Trae Young in a needed way. Not only is Bogdanovic a big pick up for Atlanta, they will get Clint Capela in the lineup during the upcoming season. Adding Onyeka Okongwu in the NBA Draft will only help, too.

During the 2019-20 NBA season, Bogdan Bogdanovic provided the Sacramento Kings with averages of 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. He will make a strong impact for an Atlanta Hawks team in need of veteran assistance on the wing.
