The Miami Heat could choose between Danilo Gallinari and Jae Crowder this offseason. There is a chance that Crowder comes at a slightly lower price. Both players will not be signed long term.

The Heat are coming off an NBA Finals appearance in the bubble. This is a team that is hoping to persuade Giannis Antetokounmpo out of Milwaukee if he hits free agency. They can remain competitive and still have room for Giannis by bringing back veteran players on team friendly deals. This includes Crowder and Goran Dragic. Crowder was a threat for the Heat from deep and he brought toughness to the lineup.

The fit between the Heat and Crowder was perfect from the beginning. Miami should not be looking to disassemble their team so quickly. It is extremely beneficial to bring back Crowder on a one- or two-year deal.
