The Grizzlies do not have a ton of cap room heading into the offseason. Memphis extended Dillon Brooks and made a trade for Justise Winslow this season. That used up remaining cap space they had to possibly make a run at a player like Joe Harris.

Memphis should be interested in a cheaper option who is available to run the floor and knock down three’s. This is Robinson. He is a 26-year old small forward who can shoot effectively and perform well on the defensive end. The Grizzlies are not a big market team that is ready to contend just yet. They are looking to get over the hump and into the postseason first. Robinson would be a nice addition along with Ja Morant in the backcourt.

Robinson is not the biggest name on the market but that is why he fits in well with Memphis. This would be an ideal fit for both sides if a deal is able to get done.
