DJ Augustin
Augustin would fit into the 76ers plan just like Thomas. He is a veteran point guard the word excel in a backup role as a scoring threat. Augustin could be interested in getting out of Orlando.
Augustin is a solid veteran role player. He has shown the ability to score the ball, both from deep and at the rim. He is a decent defender and good floor general.
That is what the 76ers need coming off the bench and replacing Simmons if he gets injured. This deal would not open many eyes or break the bank, but it would benefit the Sixers in the long run.
It is important to surround your stars with quality role players and veterans who know how to fill in the holes in the lineup. Augustin could do both of those things and would be a strong leader on and off the floor in Philadelphia.
