1. Minnesota Timberwolves
Paul Millsap might not choose to sign with a team in rebuild mode, but he could be persuaded if the contract is larger than other destinations. Minnesota has one of the top bigs in the league in Karl-Anthony Towns and could look to add Millsap to the mix.
The Timberwolves are coming off a draft where they added Anthony Edwards with the first overall pick. He will join D’Angelo Russell in the back-court for a two-guard system that is expected to be dynamic.
The Wolves are expected to be busy this offseason in attempts to work their way toward the postseason. Millsap is the type of veteran they need to help them get to where they want to be.
Minnesota is a work in progress, but there is a chance to rebuild quickly if they nail their draft picks and make some good moves in free agency. Millsap is one of those moves that could happen when the time comes.
