The best trade Mavericks can offer Kings for Buddy Hield

Why The Trade Benefits The Mavericks

Buddy Hield would be a perfect fit for the Mavericks on the offensive side of the ball. He is not much of a defensive threat, but Dallas is a team that likes to play fast and score points. Hield would fit right into their dynamic.

Hield is a career 41.4% three-point shooter. He is someone who poses a threat on the perimeter. Doncic handles the ball and is a do-it-all player, while Porzingis mans the paint and can venture out to the mid-range or three-point line.

Hield is another player to add firepower to the offense. He is a catch-and-shoot option when Doncic is going to the basket or can be found by Porzingis if he is doubled.

Dallas is an explosive offense and Hield would just add to that. They need to improve defensively and that is not Hield’s strong suit, but that should not shy the Mavericks away from making a deal.
