Chicago Bulls taking trade calls for No. 4 pick in 2020 NBA Draft

The 2020 NBA Draft is almost here and the teams like the Chicago Bulls atop the order could shake things up. There hasn’t been a trade involving a top 10 selection yet, but could the Bulls be the first to get one done?

According to Hoops Legion Ross, the Bulls are taking trade calls centered around the No. 4 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

There has been no shortage of different reports entered around the Bulls and what they may do with the No. 4 pick. Some have linked Deni Avdija while others seem to think Tyrese Haliburton is their top option. Lately, Patrick Williams has been the main prospect gaining steam in that regard.

Under new leadership, the Bulls are a team that has plenty of pieces on its roster that may not end up sticking around much longer. Chicago has been rumored as wanting to pursue a veteran point guard— suggesting a lack of confidence in Coby White.

Zach LaVine has certainly been no stranger to trade rumors this NBA offseason. He is coming off a career-year and is under contract through 2021-22— meaning he will be due for a substantial contract extension after the following NBA season.

Whatever the Chicago Bulls end up doing using the 2020 NBA Draft, it will need to result in the addition of a genuinely impactful talent. That could be challenging in a weaker class from a talent perspective compared to the typical group of players.
