1. Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks need to do all they can to persuade Giannis to re-sign and making a deal for a veteran point guard might go a long way. Milwaukee had a glaring need at many positions during the re-start and that includes at the top of the offense.
Jrue Holiday was just acquired by the Bucks, but a back-court of him and Kyle Lowry would be lethal.
Outside of Giannis, the Bucks were underwhelming last season. Khris Middleton is an All-Star caliber player, but he struggles at times to create his own shot and score. What the Bucks need is a point guard that can set up the team in position to be successful. That is what Lowry could do within the offense.
The foursome of Lowry, Holiday, Middleton, and Giannis would run the floor well and dominate in the half court scheme.
Milwaukee could be feeling the pressure of Giannis’ free agency next year. This could lead them to make a move to either persuade him to stay or prepare for his departure. With Lowry signed for one more year, this could be one final push for the Bucks to win a championship.
