4. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves currently hold the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft. They will add a top prospect to their roster that includes Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell. A veteran point guard would fit in nicely.

Minnesota could be looking to add either Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball with the top pick. It would not be wise to throw one of them into the point guard position as a rookie.

Kyle Lowry would take pressure off the new rookie and act as a mentor moving forward. On the other hand, Lowry and Towns would be an exceptional pick-and-pop combination. Towns has great range and Lowry would set him up in position to get a shot off.

The Timberwolves are looking to add good players and Lowry is just that. He is a leader on and off the court and someone who can act as a coach within the offense on the court.
