Warriors, Bucks will pursue Avery Bradley in NBA free agency

Avery Bradley is set to hit the NBA free agency market this offseason after one year with the Los Angeles Lakers. While he could still end up re-signing with the Lakers, other teams are starting to show interest. At this point in time, both the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks are interested.

That news comes from a report made by Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes. It is certainly something intriguing to keep an eye on.

Bradley is the kind of player that every true championship contender needs to have. He is an elite perimeter defender and is no slouch on the offensive end of the court either. If the Warriors or Bucks end up signing him, they will be happy they did.

During the 2019-20 NBA season with the Lakers, Bradley ended up averaging 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He also chipped in 0.9 steals per game. Bradley shot 44.4 percent from the floor and 36.4 percent from the three-point line.

At 29 years old, Bradley is still very much in his prime. However, he is coming into the final stages of his prime. Competing for a championship will likely be a major priority for him.

Thankfully, both the Warriors and Bucks can offer him that chance. Golden State was one of the worst teams in the NBA this season, but they will be getting both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back healthy. As for the Bucks, they have Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, but need more of a supporting cast.

It will be interesting to see who ends up landing Avery Bradley this offseason. He is an underrated free agent. Bradley will be a major impact player for his next team.

Expect to hear more rumors surrounding the Warriors and Bucks in the near future. Bradley is one target to watch for both teams.
