Now, we begin discussing teams adding DeMar DeRozan who have championship hopes moving forward. And we start with the team that traded him to San Antonio. It is unknown if this deal will get done as the relationship is not fully healed just yet.

Toronto had one of the top teams in the East this season but were unable to get past the Boston Celtics in the playoffs. They struggled to find that consistent option to create their own shot late in games. That is where DeRozan would come into play. He did this for years as a member of the Raptors and still has the ability.

The Raptors do not have money to send back to the San Antonio Spurs but could find possibilities through sign-and-trade deals. Names like Norman Powell and Patrick McCaw come to mind.

This reunion would benefit both sides but again, it is unknown if there are still hard feelings for the original deal. There is no doubt that Toronto would want to mend but DeRozan could hold a grudge.
