4 teams who make the most sense for a DeMar DeRozan trade

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers obviously went into rebuild mode once LeBron James left for Los Angeles. They made some good draft picks with Darius Garland and Collin Sexton. One would think they want to get younger but they still feature Kevin Love and added Andre Drummond prior to the shutdown.

So, which direction are the Cavs heading? The team has had discussions with Drummond about a deal but those talks have stalled recently. There are still feelings that one will get done.

Drummond has a player option for the upcoming season. Cleveland has a strong frontcourt. Adding DeRozan would give them another star who can handle the ball and dominate the mid-range.

DeRozan will not help the three-point woes in Cleveland but he would give the team three legitimate stars. This is not to say that the Cavs would contend for a championship but it would point them in the right direction while the San Antonio Spurs rebuild.
