With Russell Westbrook already seeking a trade, the Rockets may want to evaluate what’s best for the long-term future of their franchise. Harden, 32, is not getting any younger and Houston has come up short after trying numerous star pairings.
If the Rockets do look to rebuild during the NBA offseason, the Nets have the capability of putting together a genuinely attractive trade package. Brooklyn isn’t an organization depleted of its future NBA Draft selections and has plenty of intriguing contributors to offer.
