The Los Angeles Lakers pulled it off. Led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they won the NBA championship last season and will look to do the same in 2020-21. More help may be needed to repeat— could Orlando Magic sharpshooter Evan Fournier be an option?
The Lakers pulled off a successful playoff run despite significant inconsistency from their spot-up threats. There were some serious rough patches at times— making it a need for Los Angeles to reconfigure the roster.
It appears as though the Magic could look to make moves to position themselves for a quick rebuild. It makes plenty of sense when considering Jonathan Isaac will be sidelined for the whole upcoming NBA season due to a torn ACL.
Last season, Fournier put together a career-year for the Magic— posting averages of 18.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. He did so while shooting 39.9% from beyond the arc on an average of 6.6 attempts per game. This production should catch the Lakers’ attention.
Let’s take a look at a trade that would send Evan Fournier from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers.
