3 intriguing NBA free agency targets for the Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets put together a solid 2019-20 NBA campaign that saw them make it to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. Unfortunately, their journey ended there at the hands of LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite being eliminated by the Lakers last year, there are quite a few reasons to be excited about the Rockets. James Harden is still the most talented scorer in the game and Russell Westbrook fit nicely alongside him. Houston does need to make a few additions to the roster this offseason.

What the Rockets were really missing last season was a guy like Clint Capela, who they traded to the Atlanta Hawks. They could look to add another big man this offseason, with some believing that Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner could be an ideal trade target.

Even if the Rockets do swing big on the trade market, they will also look to add some better depth in NBA free agency. Thankfully, there are quite a few targets they could look to bring in to fill the needed roles.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three intriguing free agency targets the Rockets should take a look at.
