1. Shore Up Starting Five

The New Orleans Pelicans are set at many positions moving forward. They have strong guards on the perimeter and Williamson who can play anywhere. Where they struggled was at the center position.

New Orleans played Derrick Favors and Jaxson Hayes at the center position this season. They are capable backup players, but should not be playing significant minutes and starting every night.

With Turner, they would not have to. Both would be able to serve as backups to one of the most talented up-and-coming bigs in the league.

New Orleans would be able to start Jrue Holiday, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and Myles Turner if a deal was to get done with the Pacers. That is a starting five that can compete in games and maybe land an eight-seed in the West.
