The craziness of the NBA offseason is rapidly approaching and with that will come no shortage of rumors to monitor. That’s already underway and it can be somewhat challenging to keep up with it all.
Teams will need more firepower in order to compete with the Los Angeles Lakers, and quite possibly whichever other NBA contender that emerges. For now, the threat of a LeBron James-Anthony Davis dynamic duo is worrisome enough for opponents.
Some of the more frequent fixtures of the NBA rumor mill have been two of the league’s better point guards— Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. One is more overtly available on the track block than the other, but both will command plenty of interest.
As is the case in any NBA offseason, young players will seek hefty contract extensions. In a few instances, there could even end up being some trade discussions for those players before they become a locker room distraction for the rest of the team.
