Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Suns

On the other side of the trade, it is fairly clear why the Suns would pull the trigger. Being able to acquire a player like Kevin Love would be a no-brainer.

Phoenix needs some help at the power forward position. Love would be able to come in and fit perfectly alongside Deandre Ayton in the front-court. He can spread the floor and rebounds at a high level, while also being an underrated passer.

Love would come in and immediately help the Suns make a push towards the playoffs. If the Suns are going to make a strong push with Devin Booker leading the way, Love is the kind of piece that they need to add.

In addition to adding Love, the Suns would move up five spots in the NBA Draft lottery. They would be able to add another young talent to the roster with that pick.

There is no doubt that the Suns are going to be active this offseason. After an impressive showing in the bubble last season, they need to make a few moves. Adding Love to the roster could power them back to the postseason.
