The Golden State Warriors have been a rumored destination for Booker ever since Draymond Green was fined by the NBA for tampering, regarding comments he made about Booker.

“Get my man out of Phoenix, it’s not good for him,” Green said in an appearance on Inside the NBA in August. “It’s not good for his career. I need my man to go somewhere that he can play great basketball all of the time and win, because he’s that type of player.”

This was deemed tampering by the NBA, and it was very likely a recruiting pitch on Green’s part.

While Green’s method was questionable, his overarching point appears to be valid, especially if Booker badly wants out of Phoenix.

The Warriors would have to build an offer around the No. 2 pick, plus probably multiple other future firsts.
