Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers would be an intriguing destination for Devin Booker. Philly, like the Los Angeles Lakers, does not have high lottery picks to offer.
But the Sixers have two valuable pieces that other teams do not: Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
From Phoenix’s standpoint, it probably makes more sense to acquire Simmons than Embiid, unless the Suns would try to acquire Embiid and reroute Deandre Ayton to a third team.
The Sixers recently hired Daryl Morey, and we know Morey’s history of big transactions from his time in Houston. Morey acquired James Harden, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook at varying times throughout his tenure.
Morey has a history of thinking big, and a move for Booker would absolutely qualify as one of his most notable moves of his front office career.
