1. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are No. 1 on this list for a few reasons. First, they would benefit the most from trading up for a promising prospect because they are a win-now team. Second, they have three 1st round picks in the 2020 NBA Draftso there are plenty of options to trade.

Danny Ainge has always been a good draft day general manager. Just look at what he did to trade out of the No. 1 spot and draft Jayson Tatum at three. That certainly looks good.

The fact remains, the Celtics need help at the center position. Now, they could opt to draft Maryland’s Jalen Smith at No. 14 or trade-up for Onyeka Okongwu. There are also perimeter options they could look into like Killian Hayes and Deni Avdija.

There is no team set up better to trade up than Boston and they have the right man making the decisions. If Ainge finds a deal and feels like it would help, it would be hard to argue against him.
