3. Miami Heat

The Miami Heat could have their eyes on bigger fish. They apparently are expected to make a push for Giannis Antetokoumnpo in free agency next season. With Goran Dragic and Jae Crowder hitting free agency, the Heat could look to obtain their free agents on short-term deals and look to add a superstar next season.

The Heat is coming off an NBA Finals appearance and does not want to go backward. They will show interest in Jerami Grant but it could all come down to what the price tag is. If it is too high, the Heat could back out. As for the fit, it is a good one.

Jimmy Butler has emerged as a legitimate late-game finisher. Bam Adebayo is elite down low and Miami has some young talent. Grant is a player who would give them more depth and experience down the stretch of games.

Miami needs to have a plan moving forward. If there is one team president in this league that should not be questioned, it is Pat Riley. If he feels like Grant’s deal is worth it, he could end up in Miami.
