Minnesota Timberwolves Star Target No. 3 — Lauri Markkanen

The Chicago Bulls have quickly turned into one of the worst teams in the league. They could be looking to load up on draft capital and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft would go a long way. They have two options to trade this offseason and Markkanen is one of them.

Markannen and/or Zach LaVine could be on the move this offseason. It would benefit the Timberwolves if they were able to land both. However, let’s focus on Markannen.

Markannen is a matchup nightmare with his ability to score down low and step out and shoot from deep. A potential frontcourt of Markannen and Towns would be a huge force if both players were able to stay healthy.

There is no doubt that the Bulls need to make some changes to their roster. Their rebuild is in the early stages and it will be interesting to see what they decide to do.
