Phoenix Suns Receive: Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic

Portland Trail Blazers Receive: Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Ricky Rubio, 2020 1st Round Pick (No. 10), 2022 1st Round Pick

If the Phonix Suns do not want to be put in a position to have to give up a ton of future draft selections, adding in some prospects like Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges would help.

The Portland Trail Blazers would be in a position to remain competitive by filling out almost an entirely new starting lineup around CJ McCollum. With Ricky Rubio, Mikal Bridges, and Deandre Ayton, there would be some established talent along with the prospect taken No. 10 overall.

After pulling off such a trade, the Suns would need to get creative with how they’d fill out the rest of their supporting cast around Devin Booker and Lillard. At least getting Jusuf Nurkic in this deal would help that process.
