Boston Celtics Receive: Chris Paul

OKC Thunder Receive: Kemba Walker, 2020 first-round pick (No. 14, from Memphis), 2020 first-round pick (No. 26)

Danny Ainge is no stranger to big-time deals. He could make another one for his point guard here. While much of the focus for the Boston Celtics will be on the center position, this trade would help find a perfect fit for the point guard position.

Walker served as a leader on the floor for the Celtics this season, which is one reason he quickly became a fan favorite. However, when it comes to leaders, there are none better than Paul, so there wouldn’t be a loss in this important department.

The Celtics are completely in win-now mode and Paul’s skill-set could be a better fit with this roster. A move of this kind would help consolidate some of their 1st round picks while making a helpful upgrade in the backcourt.

With that being said, here is a breakdown of this deal from the perspective of both the Celtics and Thunder.
