5 intriguing prospects worth trading up for in 2020 NBA Draft

We are creeping closer towards the 2020 NBA Draft and teams are deciding what they want to do with their selection. This is viewed as a weak draft class but there are still some players who could make a difference in the league right away.

The Minnesota Timberwolves hold the No. 1 pick in the draft. They have a chance to add another piece along with Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell. Rounding out the top three are the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets.

The Warriors had a down year and will now have a top pick with Step Curry and Klay Thompson coming back. For the New York Knicks, they will have to wait another year to possibly land the top pick.

This is a wide-open draft. There are rumors that Anthony Edwards will be going first-overall but anything can happen to this point. LaMelo Ball is also in line to be one of the first players taken. With the class coming out, there could be teams looking to make some moves up or down on draft night.

When the night comes, it will be interesting to see which teams stay in their slot and which try to make a move. These five players could be worth trading up to try and get.
