3. Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers
Oladipo was an All-Star in each of his first two years with the Indiana Pacers. He missed much of the last two years with an injury and did not completely fit in once he returned to the team.
Domantis Sabonis turned into an All-Star big and that is where the offense in Indiana shifted. Malcolm Brogdon also dealt with some injuries, but he has taken over as the team’s primary guard and T.J. Warren showed off his scoring ability in the bubble.
Oladipo is a game-changing player, but the Pacers might not have the opportunity for him. The fact that he will be playing on an expiring contract next season makes it clear that the Pacers are going to try and move him.
There are many teams out there who would take Oladipo as a one-year rental before he hits free agency. That would allow them to get a year of his services and they can make a decision whether or not they want to re-sign him.
To be fair, reports have surfaced that Oladipo would like to stay with the Pacers. However, the question is whether or not Indiana will be willing to pay him the kind of money he will be asking for.
