4. DeMar DeRozan, San Antonio Spurs
This season was the first time that the San Antonio Spurs did not make the NBA Playoffs in over 20 years. It is clear that the Spurs are interested in getting younger and DeRozan might not be part of that plan.
Players like Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Lonnie Walker IV are part of the future in San Antonio. DeRozan was used as a stretch four who could dominate the mid-range game, but the experiment did not work.
DeRozan is one of the best at producing inside the three-point line, but at 31 years old, it is hard to imagine him being part of the plan. He is expected to accept his player option for the 2020-2021 season for $27.7 million.
For the first time in a long time, the Spurs are in rebuild mode. That does not include DeRozan and finding a trade partner should not be difficult.
He will be a very intriguing name to keep an eye on throughout the offseason.
