2. Myles Turner, Trade

Turner would be an excellent option for the Celtics to upgrade the center position. He is just 24 years old and is an elite rim protector and rebounder.

The Celtics have some contracts that they would like to get rid of and could in this deal.

Gordon Hayward’s contract is one of the worst in the league. He is from Indianapolis, so this would make for a nice homecoming. Smart is another player who could be dealt if the Pacers do not want to take on Hayward.

Turner currently has three years and $54 million left on his contract. Turner led the league in blocked shots in 2018-2019 and has the physicality to compete down low with some of the league’s best.

Turner would bring a toughness down low to Boston. If the Pacers are interested in blowing it up and reloading this offseason, the Celtics should call for Turner.
