This has been a season like one we have never seen. It took months to put together a restart plan for the NBA season after the shutdown and Adam Silver did it flawlessly. The NBA was able to crown a champion and now sights are set on the NBA Draft, where Iowa State star guard Tyrese Haliburton is soaring up draft boards.
The 2020 NBA Draft is scheduled for November 18. Players like Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball will be on display as potential No. 1 picks, but there are other intriguing prospects. This is viewed as a weaker draft class because it lacks star power like that we saw of Zion Williamson or Ja Morant.
One name to keep an eye on is Iowa State point guard Tyrese Haliburton.
The Cyclone product has great court vision and a smooth flow to his game. At 6-foot-5, Haliburton has nice size and can handle the ball better than anyone in the draft. He is an improved shooter and can score at the rim. Haliburton is looking like a top 10 pick as the draft gets closer and closer.
The question now is, where will he end up? Haliburton is on the radar of many teams, but these three would be perfect fits.
