Dallas Mavericks Star Trade Target No. 1 — Victor Oladipo

The Indiana Pacers have put Victor Oladipo on the trade market. When the Pacers pick up the phone, Dallas should be on the other end with an offer. This is a good fit for both sides. The Mavericks would be getting an All-Star caliber player to add to their roster.

Oladipo is coming off a torn quad tendon injury that has sidelined him for a majority of the last two years. He was able to come back and play in the postseason after the restart.

While Oladipo is an elite defender who can guard the opposing team’s leading scorer, he is also a big time scorer who can get hot and take over a game on any given night.

The Mavs making a move for Oladipo is a low-risk, high-reward move. He is a free agent following the 2020-2021 season so if for some reason it does not work out, they can let him walk and begin the process again. If it does, they can figure out a contract and lock in their big three for years to come.
