Dallas Mavericks Star Trade Target No. 3 — CJ McCollum

It seems like the Portland Trail Blazers will have to blow it up sooner rather than later. They have featured CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard for years now and have not been able to do any sort of winning. With Lillard on the books for a ton of money moving forward, they will have to move an asset.

McCollum has a lot of experience playing with another star guard. In Dallas, he would have Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis next to him.

This would give the Mavericks another playmaker on the perimeter. He is a legitimate scoring threat who can get it done at all three levels. This is a trade that would certainly shake up the Western Conference.

The Blazers seem to be in a state of limbo. They have not been able to win consistently. They were the eighth-seed this season and were taken out in five games by the Lakers. It is time to make some changes in Portland.
