Why The Denver Nuggets Should Do It
Simply put for the Denver Nuggets, Gary Harris is one of their tradable pieces. Denver is locked into Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Michael Porter Jr., just to name a few players.
But if the Nuggets want reshuffle some of their backcourt, Denver could look to move Harris and see what his value is. In this hypothetical, the Pistons send back Rose and Snell to match Harris’s $19 million salary for next season.
Rose is undoubtedly the center piece of the hypothetical for Denver, as the former No. 1 pick has been rumored in connection to several teams this offseason. The 32 year old will make $7.6 million next season, and he’d be an excellent addition for Denver.
Snell, a seven year veteran, played in 59 games last season for Detroit, and made 57 starts. He had an eFG% of 58% last season, and he shot 40% from beyond the arc.
While Snell started all but two of his appearances last year, he has come off the bench in 226 career games, so he’d be a versatile addition for Denver.
