5 teams who should make a run at Malik Beasley in free agency

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley is set to be a restricted free agent this offseason, and the 23 year-old raised his stock after an excellent stint in Minnesota last season.

Beasley was acquired by Minnesota from Denver, and the Timberwolves were able to provide him with the type of opportunity that wasn’t available in Denver.

While Beasley played in just 14 games for the Timberwolves before the season was suspended, he couldn’t have played much better as he enters his first foray into the free agent market.

Beasley averaged 20.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in 33.1 minutes per game for Minnesota in his 14 appearances, all of which were starts.

For context, Beasley appeared in 41 games for the Nuggets last season prior to the trade, but averaged just 7.9 points per game, and played in only 18.2 minutes per game.

Let’s take a look at 5 teams who should make a run at Malik Beasley and consider signing him to an offer sheet.
