Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Wizards

Washington is not going to be able to compete even with Bradley Beal on the roster. They are quite a few pieces away from any kind of contention in the Eastern Conference. Keeping Beal does absolutely nothing for them.

On the other hand, moving Beal to the Lakers for this trade packages makes a lot of sense.

Kyle Kuzma would be an excellent piece for the Wizards to bring in. He has never had the opportunity to unlock his scoring potential, but he would become one of the primary scorers for Washington. Add in talented pieces in Caruso, Green, and Cook and the Wizards could actually be an all-around better team.

Adding in a first-round pick is icing on top of the cake. Beal is worth this trade package and the Wizards should jump on it if they can get the offer.

Being able to acquire so much talent for one player would be a big step in the right direction. These pieces, along with a healthy John Wall, could possibly compete for the No. 8 or No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.
