The Bulls would have to give up multiple valuable assets in order to acquire Simmons, as Chicago surely wouldn’t be the only interested team if Simmons were to become available.

In this hypothetical trade, the Bulls part with a package headlined by Zach LaVine and the No. 4 overall pick in next month’s draft.

In order to match Simmons’ salary heading back to Philadelphia, the Bulls would also send Thaddeus Young to the Sixers, along with a 2021 first round pick.
