Denver Nuggets Supercharge Offense With Bradley Beal
After pulling off a highly impressive run to the Western Conference Finals in the NBA Bubble, the Denver Nuggets must go back to the drawing board.
This Nuggets team must get creative with their approach in regards to how they will go about taking the next step as a team. Would it involve bolstering their defense? Or should they go the route of adding an elite scorer to further supercharge an already impressive offense?
When considering the Nuggets may never be truly great defensively with Nikola Jokic at the center spot, forming as powerful of an offense as possible seems to be the best potential approach.
An option like Bradley Beal would be particularly intriguing. Aside from James Harden (34.3 PPG), no player in the NBA averaged more points per game than Beal (30.5 PPG) and only Damian Lillard (30.0 PPG) managed to reach the 30 per game mark.
A potential Jamal Murray-Bradley Beal backcourt with the facilitation ability of Jokic could rip defenses apart. The Nuggets would have the luxury of picking on favorable matchups at either guard spot while having two perimeter scorers that are multi-dimensional off-ball threats.
