5. Trade The No. 8 pick

Another year, another draft where the Knicks do not have the No. 1 pick. This seems to be a trend, even they are the worst team in the league. This season, they could not even land in the top-five.

The Knicks currently have the No. 8 pick and with a weak draft class, they should strongly consider trading it.

There have been talks of the Knicks trading back if James Wiseman or LaMelo Ball do not fall to their slot. Even if they do, they should trade. Ball will not be available at eight and it is unlikely that seven teams pass on Wiseman. The Knicks need assets. They have been rebuilding for quite some time now and are doing a lousy job at it. Trade back and get some more draft capital.

There will be plenty of rumors leading up to the draft, especially surrounding the Knicks. No one knows what will happen, but this is something the franchise should strongly consider.
