Heat acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, Sterling Brown
Bucks acquire Bam Adebayo, Andre Iguodala, Kelly Olynyk
The Heat have two young players that other teams covet, in Herro and Bam Adebayo. In each of the first two scenarios, the Bucks require one of them in return for Antetokounmpo.
A caveat on this deal: Miami likely wants to hold on to Adebayo in almost any trade. But if he were ever available, it should be in a trade for the reigning MVP.
The Heat still have to part with Iguodala and Olynyk to match Antetokounmpo’s salary.
This is a steep price to pay including Adebayo, but the Bucks aren’t simply going to give Antetokounmpo away.
