NBA Trade Target No. 2 — Otto Porter Jr.
Otto Porter Jr. was hindered by a foot injury last season in Chicago, but the 27 year-old figures to have a bounce back season in 2020-21.
Porter Jr. holds a player option for 2020-21 worth $28 million, and seeing as he played in just 14 games last season, it’s a safe bet that he’ll pick it up.
The Bulls could hold on to Porter Jr., but he also could be used as a trade chip.
When he’s healthy, Porter Jr. can make an impact from beyond the arc offensively, and he’s a solid defender as well.
Coming off a season in which he played so sparsely, Porter Jr. could feasibly be eased back into action next season for a contender.
