NBA Trade Target No. 4 — Jrue Holiday

Jrue Holiday’s current team, the Pelicans, needs to be a contender in their own right. But with New Orleans’ hire of Stan Van Gundy as head coach, it remains to be seen what type of changes may be coming for the Pelicans.

Van Gundy would absolutely benefit from having a highly respected veteran guard such as Holiday. But if a team brings New Orleans an intriguing offer, perhaps Holiday could be moved.

Holiday would be a fit in several different systems, and if New Orleans makes him available, they’d likely be able to weigh multiple offers against each other.

Holiday’s impact both on and off the floor could be vital to a team hoping to land that one missing piece.
