New York Knicks

The New York Knicks don’t have a veteran star to offer, but the Knicks do have a few other interesting assets.

New York holds the No. 8 overall pick and the No. 27 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

In this draft, the drop from No. 2 to No. 8 is significant, more so than say, No. 4 to No. 8. So for the Warriors to fall back six spots from No. 2 to No. 8, what else would New York have to surrender?

The Knicks likely don’t want to part with Mitchell Robinson, but he’d be an intriguing, cost-effective option at a position of need for the Warriors.

As in any trade, teams must give up something of value to get something of value in return.

If New York offered Robinson in a deal, the Warriors should at least consider the possibility.
