The Golden State Warriors would be a fascinating fit for Aaron Gordon, as he’d be surrounded by shooters and playmakers.

This would remove some of the pressure that Gordon may feel with the Orlando Magic, as he wouldn’t have to be the first or even second option with the Warriors.

Gordon is from nearby San Jose, so a trade to the Warriors would also return Gordon to his Bay Area roots.

The Warriors were among the teams that inquired about Gordon at the 2020 trade deadline, so there has been interest from Golden State in the past.

However, that was before the Warriors landed the No. 2 pick. Would Golden State package that pick plus Andrew Wiggins for Gordon if he’s available? Perhaps the Warriors revisit this possibility as the draft draws closer.
